Elizabeth and I made our way back down to Austin, Texas for another wedding. This time it was my first cousin Kristen getting married to Armando. Here is Kristen's mom, Mary Jo with the happy couple. The grooms dinner was hosted by Mary Jo and everyone wore white.

At the end of the month Jett and I took a weekend trip to Memphis to see Graceland and the rest of what the city has to offer. Our first stop was Stax Records where much of the soul music the evolved from that area was recorded.

The racquetball court has been transformed into a museum of outfits and records.

Later that day we toured the Civil Rights Museum. It's located at the site of the old Lorraine Hotel where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stayed the night before he was killed. You can see room 306 where he had been staying and was on the balcony when he was shot on April 4, 1968.
